The answers we give most often, so you do not have to ask.
How far ahead should we book?
The room takes thirty covers in one sitting and is usually full three weeks out.
Friday and Saturday go first. If your date has gone, leave your name — a table comes back
most nights.
Can you cook around allergies?
Almost always, with a day’s notice. Tell us when you book rather than when you
arrive — the card is written each morning, so it is far easier to build the dish than to
take it apart at the pass.
Is there a vegetarian menu?
Yes, a full tasting menu, written the same morning as the main card. It is not a
substitution — it is its own set of dishes. Ask for it when you book.
Do you take large groups?
Up to eight in the room. Beyond that we open the old cellar for private dining,
which seats sixteen with its own card and pairing. Write to us and we will plan it with you.
What is the dress code?
There isn’t one. Come as you would to a friend’s table.
Can we cancel?
Freely, up to 24 hours before. After that we ask for a small fee per cover —
thirty seats is a small room, and a late cancellation is a table we cannot fill.
